Welcome to this information site about historic New Bern, NC.  We hope to provide you with a unique view of a city full of history spanning three hundred years.  December 31, 2009 will begin a yearlong celebration of this history, with many events and activities planned which will reveal not only three centuries of history, but also serve to introduce visitors to a newly revitalzed city that has so much to offer as a community, thriving commercial center, and hub of activities for the surrounding area. We welcome you to our site and to our community, and hope you will find this to be a valuable source of information about our city, its history, and planned events for 2010.
